Program Support Specialist (Administrative Coordinator)
Location: Fort Leavenworth, KS
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; Public Trust Clearance
Salary: $50,000-$65,000
Position Overview
The Program Support Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Command Team Spouse Development Program – Battalion (CTSDP‑BN). This role ensures smooth coordination, accurate reporting, and timely execution of all program activities in alignment with Government requirements. The Program Support Specialist plays a key role in enabling successful course delivery and supporting both facilitators and program leadership.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative activities required for course execution
- Manage student attendance tracking, documentation, and reporting
- Distribute instructional materials and course packets
- Support classroom setup, readiness, and coordination with facilitators
- Ensure all administrative deliverables are completed on time and with ≥98% accuracy
- Serve as an administrative liaison between Government stakeholders and contractor personnel
- Assist with preparation for program reviews, audits, and reporting requirements
- Maintain compliance with all PWS‑mandated administrative processes and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support, program coordination, or training support environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered
Certifications
- None required
Clearance / Eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 1 background investigation / installation access
Other Required Skills
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to operate effectively in a non‑personal services environment with minimal supervision
