Lead Facilitator (Senior Instructor)
Location: Fort Leavenworth, KS
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; Public Trust Clearance
Salary: $85,000-$90,000
Position Overview
The Lead Facilitator serves as the primary instructor for the Command Team Spouse Development Program – Battalion (CTSDP‑BN). This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction, facilitating group learning, administering assessments, and supporting leadership and resiliency development for program participants. The Lead Facilitator ensures full and accurate delivery of all Government‑approved curriculum and maintains strict compliance with instructional standards.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver a 23–35-hour instructional course during a 5‑day seminar
- Facilitate small‑group discussions of up to 16 participants
- Execute all lesson plans and learning objectives without deviation
- Administer, interpret, and debrief behavioral and personality assessments
- Deliver instructional sessions based on assessment outcomes
- Moderate senior leader and spouse panels
- Prepare and submit course materials, updates, and required documentation to the COR
- Support curriculum updates, revisions, and material improvements
- Ensure 100% compliance with approved instructional content
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, instruction, or training delivery
Education
- Graduate degree required (Education, Leadership, Behavioral Science, or related field)
Certifications
- Relevant assessment tool certifications preferred (e.g., Kolb, Situational Leadership, TKI, Insights Discovery)
Clearance / Eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 1 background investigation / installation access
Other Required Skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience with experiential learning methodologies
- Ability to facilitate small‑group instruction (1:16 ratio)
- Experience in conflict resolution, group dynamics, and organizational climate development
- Prior Army experience or Army spouse experience at BN/BDE level preferred
