Contractor Execution Manager (Regional Manager)
The TAP Contract Execution Manager (Regional Manager) works collaboratively with the Contractor Installation Managers as one unit, who serve as the TAP Center’s principal provider of services to transitioning Service Members and their Family Members. The TAP Contract Execution Manager serves as an advisor/counselor to the CIM and assists with navigating the VOW/CRS mandates to become Career Ready and to track the progress of transitioners in TAPXXI. The Contract Execution Manager complies with the instructions of the Program Manager to perform tasks.
The specific duties of the TAP Contract Execution Manager include but are not limited to:
- Provide operational leadership.
- Ensure MTT/FTST missions are completed and AARs.
- Mentor CIMs to become better managers, apply core monitor QC reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Remain a Subject Matter Expert for MTT/FTST operations and develop/monitor continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Virtual QC reports.
- Review monthly status reports submitted by CIMs and make on-the-spot.
- Offer weekly meetings with CIMs to provide guidance and learn OPS TEMPO of sites.
- Monitor pilot sites and communicate with HRC TD Analyst about issues/concerns.
- Review monthly VOW/CRS statistics to learn if any sites are falling out of compliance.
- Assist with mitigation of issues and alert PM along with COAs that have been taken.
- Provide customer support to the TSMs.
- Monitor TAPXXI reports for workflow to learn if there are any negative/positive trends and then take appropriate corrective actions.
- Sustain and improve DEMOB SOPs and contribute to Army Directives.
- Communicate vacancies with HR project support. The HR project support team will recruit, provide resumes for CIMs for interviewing, provide list of preferred candidates to the CEM for CIMs vacancies, and will conduct all activities associated with on-boarding.
- Assist with training replacement.
- Minimally, on an annual basis, evaluate CIM’s job performance, and, if necessary, place CIM’s on a performance improvement plan (PIP). Also, mentor CIM’s on how to evaluate performance of their staff.
- If needed, place field staff on a PIP or a progressive disciplinary plan which may lead to termination.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree PREFERRED in Training and Development, HR Management, Counseling, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years career counseling, education, or related experience.
- Ability to accomplish the following: support transitioning military personnel, Army Civilians, and Family Members with separation briefings, conduct training to support VOW/CRS, resume critiques, interview support, etc.
- Learn and use TAPXXI system to assist clients.
- Track client progress and assist with job fairs, employer days, and classroom events.
- Experience with software packages such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Salary: $100,000.00
