As a company that primarily provides services, our people (our team) is what is most valuable to us at MKS2 Technologies. We think in terms of teammates, not employees. Our focus for everyone on our team is to deliver the best possible results we can for our clients.
Chief Executive Officer
Brendan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MKS2. Prior to the launch, Brendan served as Chief Operating Officer and first employee to Halfaker and Associates, a Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering start-up. Brendan helped the firm grow from one-person to over $12M in products and services with a staff of over 107 employees in less than 3 years.
After graduating from West Point, Brendan served in the US Army for 5 years as a Combat Engineer Officer. He was stationed in Washington, DC serving the President and Vice President as 2nd in command of an Urban Search and Rescue company assigned to the White House and Naval Observatory. Additionally, Brendan was stationed overseas in the Republic of Korea as a Platoon Leader and later deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Military Transition Team member (MiTT), where he earned the Combat Action Badge in 2006.
During his time of service, Brendan volunteered and attended U.S. Army Ranger School but did not graduate, however, he graduated from U.S. Army Airborne School, U.S. Army Air Assault, the U.S. Army Weapons of Mass Destruction Incident Response Course, and U.S. Army Emergency Management Incident Command School.
Brendan holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Brendan was a 4-year member of the Army Football team and 2-year letterman winner.
An Ironman triathlon finisher and marathoner, Brendan currently burns stress with CrossFit, finds Zen with Bikram, and most importantly, he makes excellent ice cream sandwiches for his three awesome daughters. Brendan and his wife, Suzanne, and their family reside in Austin, Texas.
Director of Operations
Steven Hall is a native of Petersburg, Virginia and a highly decorated US Army Veteran with 23 years of service and four overseas tours. During his military career, he served in several challenging leadership positions to include, Platoon Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, First Sergeant, Senior Military Instructor at Saint Augustine's College, Chief Army Instructor for the Department of Defense Firefighting Academy, and Battalion Command Sergeant Major.
Currently serving as the Director of Operations for MKS2, Steven is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the company's operations, executing current obligations and achieving continued growth. He graduated with honors from Excelsior College and holds a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Business Management.
Steven resides in Colorado and works out of the company's Colorado Springs office. He has two sons and two daughters.
Director of People
Regina Perlow is the Director of People/Talent Acquisition at MKS2. Prior to working at MKS2, Regina previously worked as Executive Assistant/Recruiter and Marketing Manager for MassMutual. Regina brings with her 17+ years of experience supporting executive officers, General Agents, Associate Agents, and Sales Managers to improve internal operations. She has a total of 29 years of experience in the administrative field.
Regina is a native of Iowa and resides in Phoenix, AZ with her husband Jeff. She has 2 grown children, Steph and Brittany.
Director of Strategy
As the Director of Strategy for MKS2, Angela helps drive the overall business and growth strategy for the firm. Angela is passionate about helping businesses succeed and is proud to be a part of the team that drives MKS2 to achieve a higher level of excellence each day. Before joining the MKS2 team, Angela served as the Director of Strategy and Business Development for an organizational development consulting firm based in Chicago, IL. Prior to focusing her career on strategy and growth, Angela served as the Chief Operating Officer for the sixth largest independent restaurant group in the United States. She was responsible for leading a cross-functional team of 38 managers and 250 employees from all over the world. In addition to driving the organization through a decade of double-digit annual revenue growth, Angela also achieved the highest sustainable margins in the organization’s twenty-year history.
Angela holds a MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Purdue University.
A certified sommelier and classically trained Chef, Angela spends most of her free time cooking for family and friends, enjoying the incredible restaurant scene in Portland, and traveling all over the world. Angela and her husband, Jeff, reside in Maine with their three children.
Director of Innovation
Lisa Spence is the Director of Innovation at MKS2 and Program Manager for the Center for Educational Design, Development, and Distribution (CED3) at the Naval Postgraduate School. She is a combat veteran who served two active duty tours, including one tour in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Qatar during Operation Enduring Freedom and one tour in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Lisa graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research, an MBA from Golden Gate University in 2007 and Master’s in Instructional Science and Technology from California State University Monterey Bay in 2015. After leaving the military, Lisa worked as an Business Instructor at Heald College in Salinas and at Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey. Lisa has also worked as an instructional designer at Accelerate Education, Saylor Academy, Tesla Motors, and the Naval Postgraduate School.
Lisa is an active volunteer with CASA of Monterey County, Stevenson School, PsychoTour.org, and the West Point Society of Monterey Peninsula. Lisa also loves to CrossFit, swim, and run along the coast with her son in Monterey, California.
Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Jenni Rosenberg is the Talent Acquisition and IT Recruiter Specialist with MKS2. Prior to starting her career here, she worked as a Corporate Recruiter with ADT Security Services and as a Global Technical Recruiter for seven different countries. Some of her past experience include roles in both Business Development and Talent Acquisition.
Jenni’s background is in Nutrition and Dietetics, where she started as a dance major in college before suffering major injuries that led her into the world of recruitment.
She is originally from Long Island, but resides in Colorado Springs, where she works closely with Steve Hall, our Director of Operations.
As the Proposal Manager of MKS2, Konstantine oversees nationwide regional proposal efforts. Konstantine applies perspective in growth and drives synergies by establishing corporate stability, repeatability, and a framework for continuous proposal improvement, as well as formatting proposal responses with win-themes for government agencies. As an integral part of the MKS2 business pursuit team, together with the Director of Strategy, Konstantine provides a robust proposal management process, that spearheads progress capture, development phases, and overall technical maturity throughout the proposal stage. Before joining MKS2, Konstantine served as Senior Proposal Manager for various small businesses, specializing in Information Technology within the federal sector, acquiring GSA Schedule 70 contracts, gaining strategic knowledge in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and federal procurement processes. Prior to focusing a career in Proposal Management, Konstantine reported breaking news and live coverage at the NY Post’s, News Corporation in New York City.
Konstantine holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in English from the City University of New York (CUNY), Hunter College. An avid chess player, Konstantine has competed in several chess tournaments and has a passion for the arts, sciences, and cultures.
A native New Yorker from Queens, Konstantine now resides with his family in Harwinton, Connecticut.
Administrative and Business Development Assistant
Danna Agha is the Business Development Coordinator for MKS2. Previously, she worked for the Naval Postgraduate School as a Multidisciplinary Coordinator across different programs supporting the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy. Her past experiences heavily involve prioritizing business development and customer service with an emphasis on bringing forth the best solutions for the company.
She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A in English Language Literature and later pursued a Masters Degree in teaching. She speaks three languages and enjoys utilizing it as much as possible professionally and casually.
She currently resides in Monterey, California where she works closely with Lisa Spence, our Director of Innovation. She enjoys painting, dancing, analog photography, researching allergens/environmental toxins as part of an alternative health book she is in the process of writing with her partner and hiking in the mountains.
Hailing from Annapolis, Maryland, Matthew Clark moved to the Colorado Springs area in 2012. He graduated from Flagler College with a degree in communications. After graduation, he went into the music industry, managing concert venues and working in radio. In 2007 he moved to South Korea where he worked as a teacher. Upon returning to the country he took an IT help desk job for an online ticketing company. After several years he decided to make a career change and joined the craft spirit industry, working as a brand ambassador, distiller, and bartender. Most recently he decided to parlay his skills and venture into the world of recruiting - he couldn't be happier. In his spare time Matthew also runs a trivia company, go ahead and ask him a question, he probably knows the answer.
