This is a Key Person position at Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the Center for Army Leadership (CAL).

Essential Functions:
  • Will provide consulting, study, and survey services to address the functions of The Leadership Research, Assessment and Doctrine Division (LRADD) of CAL in leadership assessment, research, and product development
  • Duties will include conducting studies, literature reviews, product investigations, attitude surveys, tests, experiments, data analysis, and document preparation
Requirements:
  • United States citizen

Education:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in behavioral science
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in research and development (R&D) associated with leadership, training, education, leader development, human resource management or human performance improvement
  • Prior training and experience in a) scientific investigation, including attitude surveys, experimental and quasi-experimental design, threats to validity, statistical analysis, use of evidence, ethics and human subjects protection; b) typical phenomena covered in behavioral and social science, including areas of specialization in leadership, assessment development, leadership assessment development, leader development, performance, and learning; c) applied psychology, industrial organizational psychology, and human resource initiatives, and d) experience
    with military populations.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively deliver presentations and consultations to senior government officials.
  • Team work: The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams within a military environment.
