Position Title: Operations Analyst
Pay: $22/hour – benefits included
Duration: 12 month contract – option to extend/convert
Overtime: Overtime is required due to weather conditions and staffing needs.
Role Overview:
In this position, you will monitor and respond to outage trouble calls. Your tasks will include analyzing calls to locate problems, prioritizing emergency and non-emergency work for first responders, and communicating with customers about their power issues.
Key Skills Required:
- Multi-tasking: Ability to handle changing priorities.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Windows applications and typing.
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills with customers.
- Data Analysis: Capability to review various information sources to decide on appropriate actions.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in dispatching for call centers, 911 operations, or utilities.
Soft Skills
- We are looking for energetic and personable candidates who can maintain a positive attitude while interacting with customers and field workers, even during busy times. Candidates should be coachable and willing to learn.
Education and Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred Background: Experience in 911 dispatch centers, utility dispatch, or call center customer service.
