Project Description:

Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an SAP-based system and is the Department of the Navy’s (DON) financial and supply information technology system of record. Deployment implementations have concluded, and the Program is now in its sustainment phase, although efforts continue to expand and improve functionality. Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB) PMW 220 was designated to provide sustainment services, including lifecycle management, stabilization, optimization, and audit readiness.

Position Description:

*SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

This position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP’s SAP requirements and design. This
position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM to create and process sales orders including
development of quotations, orders, and invoices and subsequent billing runs.

  • Pay Rate: $100,000 – $120,000 based on qualifications. Benefits package included.
  • Location: REMOTE

Required Skills:

  • Active Secret Clearance (must be clearable)
  • Ten (10) or more years of SAP experience.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline
    related to area of expertise. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.
  • Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred.
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance),
    implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP FM module (in a Tier 3 environment) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a program or project manager leading and supervising a
    multidisciplinary staff of various levels.
  • Demonstrated the ability in the application of functional and technical expertise to improve the performance of
    the business; resolution of functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules.
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Word
  • Excellent verbal an written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years FM experience
  • Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
  • Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
  • Provide FM expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition;
  • Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary;
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases;
  • Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions;
  • Define user authorization requirements; 
  • Provide help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving FM defects (‘break/fix’), analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP FM solution and system;
  • Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed
